Today in class we talked about how our textbooks are sometimes outdated and that can lead to getting wrong information. The book we were using had studies from the year 2010 which was almost 9 years ago. The studies talked about how people in the US used to not think of immigration as a big deal but we know now that it is a very prominent topic in today's media. It also criticized the European people for being against immigration because it is hanging their culture while back 100 years ago that's what they were doing to the US.
