21. One way the Nile River influenced life in ancient Egypt by providing travel and trade routes among the people. Another way it helped influence Egyptian life was every year after the flood water receded it would leave a layer of silt that was good for farming and was very fertile. The Nile also provided papyrus which were tall reeds that grew in the Nile delta and could be turned into something that could be written on.
22. The pyramids were built as tombs for the Egyptian kings and Pharaohs. They were built to help guide the soul in the after life to get where they needed to go.
