Today in class we took a test on excellence. I felt that I did fairly well on the test and am excited to see what I got on it. The only question I got stuck on was one asking me what was the main gathering place in ancient Greece, I was stuck on it for like ten minutes when I finally remembered it is called the Agora. The two essay questions were fairly easy as well, they asked how the trial of Socrates happened and how the quote "The unexamined life isn't worth living". I wrote about how Socrates was accused of misleading the children of Greece and dishonoring the gods. I also wrote how Socrates was given a chance to escape but decided not to. For the second essay question I answered how government and media play a huge role in what we learn and what opportunities we are exposed to on a daily basis.
