Today in class we learned about the Gall-Peters map. The Gall-Peters map is a more accurate representation of the size of countries and continents in the world. In common maps we see that the prominent world powers such as the US, Russia, and Europe are actually bigger on these maps that they actually are. I think that we should change our current maps to the Gall-Peters map because its more accurate information and gives us a better representation and better knowledge of our world for and how size dose not mean how powerful a country is.
